Fault 1 FC SENSOR RESISTANCE FAULT The resistance of the FC Sensor is outside the normal range (< 660 ohms).

Primary Action

- Check sensor connection at controller.

Secondary Action

- Replace sensor.
Fault 2 EVAP SENSOR RESISTANCE FAULT The resistance of the Evaporator Sensor is outside of the normal range (> 45k ohms).

Primary Action

- Check sensor connection at controller.

Secondary Action

- Replace sensor.
Fault 4 PC SENSOR RESISTANCE FAULT The resistance of the PC Sensor is outside of the normal range (> 45k ohms).

- Check sensor connection at controller.

- Check the defrost heater assembly in the FC - look for blown fuses, loose/bad connections.

- Check the 14 way harness for damage at the unit compartment end.

Tertiary Action

- Replace Power Module.
Fault 7 Stage 1,2,3 NO FAULT If this LED is flashing the cabinat is either a stage 4 cabinet or the cabinet is not displaying fault.

Primary Action

- Go into diagnostics mode and check IO faults page.

Secondary Action

- If no IO faults switch product off, and back on again. If Code 7 re-appears recheck for IO faults. If none replace power module
Fault 9 LAH HIGH CURRENT FAULT The low ambient heater is drawing more current than expected. Either the heater or wiring is faulty.

Primary Action

- Check the wring and connections at both heater and power module.

Secondary Action

- Check heater resistance. If not within limits replace heater.
Fault 10 PC FAN CURRENT LOW CURRENT FAULT The PC fan is drawing less current than expected. Either the wiring is open circuit or the fan is faulty.

Primary Action

- Check PC fan wiring and connections at both the fan and power module.

Secondary Action

- Check fan. If faulty replace
Fault 11 PC FAN CURRENT HIGH CURRENT FAULT The PC fan is drawing more current than expected. Either the wiring is open circuit or the fan is faulty.

Primary Action

- Check PC fan wiring and connections at both the fan and power module.

Secondary Action

- Check fan. If faulty replace.
Fault 12 FC FAN CURRENT LOW CURRENT FAULT The FC fan is drawing less current than expected. Either the wiring is open circuit or the fan is faulty.

Fault 1 POWER/CONTROL MODULE SELF TEST FAULT On the last poer up, the Power/Control module failedits self test.

Primary Action

- Replace Power/Control module.
Fault 2 DEFROST HEATER FAILURE The previous 2 defrosts were aborted after 40 minutes (30 minutes for Stage 4.2 priot to June 2006).

Primary Action

- Check the defrost heater assembly in the FC - look for blown fuses, loose/ad connections.

Secondary Action

- Ensure that the defrost harness (brown wires) is securely plugged into the Power/Control module.

Tertiary Action

- Replace Power/Contol module.
Fault 3 ALL TEMP SENSORS RESISTANCE FAULT The resistance of all of the Sensors is outside of the normal range (> 45k ohms).

Primary Action

- Check 6 way sensor RAST connector at Power/Control module.

Secondary Action

- Reterminate 6 way sensor RAST connector.

Tertiary Action

- Replace Power/Control module.
Fault 4 ALL TEMP SENSORS RESISTANCE FAULT The resistance of all of the Sensors is outside of the normal range (< 600 ohms).

Primary Action

- Check 6 way sensor RAST connector at Power/Control module.

Secondary Action

- Reterminate 6 way sensor RAST connector.

Tertiary Action

- Replace Power/Control module.

Secondary Action

- Reterminate 6 way Fan/LAH RAST connector.

Tertiary Action

- Replace Power/Control module.
Fault 13 AMB HTR LOW CURRENT The low ambient heater is drawing less current than expected. Either the heater or wiring is open circuit or the heater is faulty.

Primary Action

- Check wiring and connections at both heater and power module.

Secondary Action

- Check heater resistance. If not within limits replace heater.
Fault 14 AMB HTR HIGH CURRENT The low ambient heater is drawing higher current than expected. Either the heater or wiring is open circuit or the heater is faulty.

Primary Action

- Check wiring and connections at both heater and power module.

- Check heater resistance. If not within limits replace heater.
Fault 15 PC FAN CURRENT LOW CURRENT FAULT The PC fan is drawing less current than expected. Either the wiring is open circuit or the fan is faulty.

- Check PC fan wiring and connections at both the fan and power module.

Secondary Action

- Check fan. If faulty replace.
Fault 16 PC FAN CURRENT HIGH CURRENT FAULT The PC fan is drawing more current than expected. Either the wiring is open circuit or the fan is faulty.

F1 PCB Assembly Fault The module has an internal fault.

Primary Action

Replace PCB assembly
F5 Over Temperature If the exhaust air temperature is above 90 degrees C a fault is given. The dryer should not reach this temperature in normal operation.

Primary Action

- Check the lint filter and exhaust duct for any blockage or restriction to the air flow
F6 Faulty Exhaust or Ambient Sensor The sensors can either be open or shorted circuit.

Primary Action

- Unplug the exhaust sensor and check the resistance. Should be 2000 ohms at 20 degrees C. Replace the exhaust sensor if faulty. If the ambient sensor is faulty the electronic module will have to be replaced.
F9 Faulty Exhaust Sensor Primary Action

- Unplug exhaust sensor. Check resistance of sensor. If faulty, replace.

Secondary Action

- A shorted exhaust sensor can also be sensed by the Temperature Measurement System as a very low temperature reading. Remember the sensor decreases in resistance as the temperature decreases. To stop a fault code showing at very low temperatures, this fault will not show until 5 minutes after the dryer has started.
F10 Exhaust Sensor Shorted to cabinet Primary Action

- Unplug Exhaust sensor. Check resistance between sensor wires and cabinet. There should be no continuity between them.

Secondary Action

- If there is a short, inspect the harness to trace the short
F13 Over Temperature If the exhaust air temperature is above 90 degrees C a fault is given. The dryer should not reach this temperature in normal operation.

Primary Action

- Check the lint filter and exhaust duct for any blockage or restriction to the air flow.
F15 Fault Brown out The product has experienced 8 brownouts within 60 seconds and has aborted the cycle and displayed fault.

Primary Action

- Check the supply voltage. If the supply drops below 180 VAC this fault will occur
